Friday, 7 pm. The last laptop shuts. That is roughly when our crew arrives, because businesses here cannot lose a working day, and most jobs we take on as packers and movers in Udyog Vihar Gurgaon happen after hours or across a weekend.
Phases I to V spread across the north side of Gurgaon, close to the Delhi border. NH-48 runs along one edge, with Kapashera, Dundahera and Sectors 18 and 20 around it, while Cyber City and the DLF Phase areas are a short drive off. Odd mix, useful mix. Garment and export houses. Engineering workshops. BPO floors, back offices and IT companies, plus newer corporate buildings mostly in the later phases.
Closest to all of this is our Palam Vihar Extension team, who know these lanes well.
Three permissions that set your start time
Before a single carton is taped, sort out three things with your building or landlord.
First comes the material-out gate pass. Most buildings and many plot owners want a signed list of everything leaving, marked returnable or non-returnable, carrying an authorised company signature, and security will check the truck against that sheet at the gate before it rolls out.
Second, the service lift and loading bay. Goods movement is often allowed only outside working hours. Loading areas may be shared with other tenants. Book a slot, preferably in writing.
Third, handing back the old premises. Does the landlord expect the space clean, or partitions removed? Mention it early, so that labour gets planned separately.
Put all of it on WhatsApp. A crew plan follows.

Packers and movers in Udyog Vihar Gurgaon for office floors
Labels that survive a weekend
Every desk, chair, monitor and drawer carton at a workstation shares one marker number. Workstation 14’s things all say 14. Your admin team gets the list, and on Monday checking takes minutes, not hours.
IT equipment
Monitors, CPUs, printers, switches and routers are padded and boxed. Cables are bagged and taped to the device they belong to. Ask your IT person to photograph the server rack and network cabling before shutdown; whoever reconnects it later will be grateful.
Phased moves
Shutting a whole office at once is not always possible. One floor or one department can move at a time, spread over two or three evenings, while everyone else keeps working.
Packing stock never runs short mid-job. Cartons, corrugated rolls and foam are kept stocked at our godown, and on a large corporate shift the bulky wrapping can happen in the building’s parking or the plot’s open area, leaving corridors and lifts free.
Export houses and small units
Garment and export units bring their own list. Sewing machines, cutting tables, steel racks, fabric rolls, samples, packed shipments.
Machine heads are padded and blocked so they cannot shift. Fabric rolls get wrapped against dust and damp. Racks come apart, with every upright and shelf numbered for quick rebuilding. Finished goods are packed by buyer or by order, whichever way your team tracks them.
Some plots run production downstairs and offices upstairs. Same day, two separate jobs, different packing for each.
Very heavy machines? A survey question first.
When shipments need regular movement or are leaving the city, our transport and logistics side takes over. Intercity loads ride in closed containers packed to the roof, heaviest items lowest. If the new premises are still being fitted out, furniture, files and stock can sit in our storage godown until the space is ready.
Staff moving house
Lots of people working in Udyog Vihar live nearby, in Sectors 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23, Dundahera and Palam Vihar. Their household moves come under our city-wide house and flat shifting, with wardrobes sheeted and strapped and every carton marked by room.
Lanes, buses and loading
Daytime here means company buses, office cabs and delivery trucks squeezing through every lane at once, with half the plots receiving raw material and the other half sending finished cartons out of the same narrow gate. Parking is tight. Loading outside peak hours is easier on everyone, which is one more reason evening and weekend slots suit Udyog Vihar. Depending on where the new office is, trucks take NH-48, the Old Delhi-Gurgaon Road or the internal phase roads.
What decides your estimate
Fixed rates are not published. Your figure depends on:
- Amount of furniture, equipment and stock
- Type of items, such as IT gear, machines or fabric
- Floors, lift access and loading space
- Distance to the new premises
- Night, weekend or phased timing
- Storage, dismantling and reassembly
Site surveys come free, and you decide afterwards.
