Nobody enjoys the week before a move. Cartons sit half-filled, the lift booking is still unconfirmed, and somebody at home has started wondering aloud whether the sofa will even fit through the new door. As packers and movers in Gurgaon, we take that weight off you: survey, packing, loading, the drive across town or across states, and unpacking at the other end.
Five branches help with the speed. Sector 38, Sector 48 on Sohna Road, Sector 56, Golf Course Road and Palam Vihar Extension each have a supervisor nearby. Wherever you live in Gurugram, one of them can come over without a long wait.
What ends up in our trucks
Homes, mostly. Small 1 BHK flats in the older sectors. Four-bedroom apartments in Golf Course Road towers. Builder floors where the staircase is narrower than anyone admits, and now and then a villa. Families who want the room-by-room version can read about how we handle a family flat in more detail.
Offices are the other big share. Workstations, chairs, files, servers, even the pantry fridge. For those, we agree a labelling plan that matches the new floor layout before a single desk is unscrewed, and we can work evenings or a weekend so your people lose as little working time as possible.
Vehicles need a separate plan. Putting your car on a carrier involves photos, paperwork and a condition check, while sending a scooter or motorcycle is mostly about how it gets padded.
Sometimes the new flat simply isn’t ready. Possession slips. Painters overrun. In that case a storage slot at our godown can hold your things for a few weeks or longer. Companies with stock going out every month are better served by our regular business dispatches.

Packing: the part you never see
Damage usually starts here. So does its prevention.
Almirahs and wardrobes
Three layers go on. Corrugated sheet sits against the wood or steel, stretch film is pulled tight over it, and blue plastic strapping holds the whole bundle so nothing shifts. Before it leaves the room, a packer marks the face of the bundle with the word FRONT.
Small habit, big payoff. Loaders know how to carry it, and at your new home it goes against the wall facing outward, with nobody tearing the wrap open to check.
Mattresses and appliances
Nothing travels bare. A mattress left uncovered collects dust and dents surprisingly fast inside a truck, so it gets wrapped edge to edge. Fridge doors scratch even faster, and washing machines need their drums steadied before the trip.
Kitchen and glass
Plates are wrapped one at a time and stood on edge in the carton, never stacked flat. Glasses get bubble wrap and cardboard dividers. Oil, pickle and masala jars are sealed on their own, because one leaking bottle can spoil a carton full of clothes.
Numbers on every piece
A marker label goes on each packed item showing our job code plus its own number, say "#2" or "#22". When the truck is unloaded, those numbers get ticked off against your list. Missing anything? You find out that same afternoon. Not three weeks later, while hunting for the pressure cooker.
Loading, the road and delivery
Heavy furniture goes in first, along the walls of the truck. Cartons come next, heavier ones low and lighter ones higher up. On a long intercity run the load is packed tight, with gaps filled, so nothing has room to slide when the driver brakes on the highway.
At the new address, things go to the rooms you point at. Beds and tables we opened get fitted back together, and the packing waste leaves with us if you’d like.
Advice our supervisors repeat every week
- Get the society lift slot confirmed in writing. More Gurgaon moves get delayed by the lift than by packing.
- Check gate pass rules and permitted timings with your RWA a few days ahead.
- Jewellery, cash, documents and medicines travel with you, not in the truck.
- Keep one small bag for the first evening: charger, toothbrush, a change of clothes, a bedsheet.
- Defrost the fridge a day early and leave the door open to dry.
- Snap a photo of the TV and wifi cables before anything is unplugged.
- Warn us about tight staircases or an awkward gate turn. Better before the truck shows up than after.
What changes the cost
No fixed rate card here. Two 2 BHK moves can land at very different figures, and any price given without seeing your goods is mostly guesswork.
Volume comes first, since it decides the vehicle. After that comes distance, how much packing you hand over to us, the floor and the lift, how far the truck can park from your door, awkward items like a treadmill or a glass dining top, and the date itself, because weekends and month-ends book out quickly.
After the survey, the quote arrives in writing with the scope spelled out. It costs nothing, and you can see exactly what’s covered before you commit.
Packers and movers in Gurgaon, one area at a time
Each part of the city has its quirks. Societies along Sohna Road tend to enforce strict move-in hours, and our crew along Sohna Road plans around them. Palam Vihar is full of independent houses and builder floors where the staircase matters more than any lift, which is why the Palam Vihar side of town has its own page.
Leaving Gurgaon altogether? Extra cushioning goes in for the longer drive, and the delivery window gets agreed before loading starts. Mention the destination city at the survey and we’ll plan the route.

Questions people ask about packers and movers in Gurgaon
How far ahead should I book?
One to two weeks is comfortable. Month-end and weekend dates fill faster, so give more notice for those. Short-notice moves still happen, so call and ask anyway.
Does the survey cost anything?
No. A supervisor visits, or joins a video call, looks at what you have and prices the job from that.
Can I pack some things myself?
Of course. Plenty of people box their own clothes and books and leave furniture, glassware and appliances to us. The quote simply follows the scope.
Will you take furniture apart and refit it?
Yes, for beds, wardrobes and tables designed to come apart. Screws and fittings go into a taped bag stuck to the piece they belong to.
Do you handle office shifting?
Yes. Desks, chairs, cabinets and IT equipment all move with us, and the labels follow your new seating plan, so the crew knows where every piece is headed.
